I want to sell my company. Or buy one.

The price is agreed at the start and lost at the end: in the representations and warranties, in the price adjustments, and in whatever does or does not surface in due diligence. First step: A one-page map of the deal: phases, the risks that actually matter, and a realistic timetable to signing.

My partner and I no longer see eye to eye.

Corporate deadlock gets worse on its own. Every month without a decision reduces the value of the company and narrows the exits available to both of you. First step: An honest analysis of your position and of the other side's, and the real routes out: negotiated, statutory or judicial, with their cost and their timescale.

I have capital and want the investment structured properly.

A good investment badly structured stops being one. The legal form of the vehicle, the entry of co-investors and the tax treatment are decided before investing, not after. First step: A review of the proposed structure from both banks of the river: the legal one and the return.

I've received a claim or a lawsuit.

Some deadlines cannot be recovered. The first decision, whether to respond, negotiate or wait, shapes the rest of the proceedings more than any later filing. First step: An assessment of deadlines and options on the first call, and who at the firm or among our consultants should take it on.

What this site uses

This site sets no first-party or third-party cookies for analytics, advertising or personalisation purposes. There is no audience measurement, there are no tracking pixels and no browsing profiles are built.

The only thing stored on your device

Nothing is stored or loaded before you decide. These are the only two categories, and the second stays off until you accept it.

Necessary. The language you choose with the ES/EN switch and your own answer to this notice, with its date, which is what lets us evidence when and to what you consented. They are held in the browser's local storage, they are not cookies, they never travel to the server and they cannot identify you. The Spanish Data Protection Agency treats preferences chosen by the user as exempt from consent, so we do not ask for it.

Measurement. Visits are counted by our own server: how many people read each section and which domain they arrive from, in aggregate figures, with no cookies, without storing IP addresses and without sending anything to third parties. The AEPD exempts that first-party, strictly statistical measurement from consent, so we do not ask for it. What does depend on you is the rest: if you accept this category, we remember where you first came from and that datum travels with your enquiry so we know which channel works, and it would allow an external tool to load if one is ever added. If you do not accept it, none of that happens.

You can change your mind at any time. “Privacy preferences” in the footer reopens the same panel and whatever you decide replaces what came before. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it, which is exactly what the Regulation requires. You can also clear the site data from your browser's privacy settings and the notice will appear again as it did the first time.

Third-party connections

None. Everything that makes up this page, fonts and images included, is served from veredumlegal.com. Your browser does not contact Google, social networks or any other platform while you are here, so your IP address is not disclosed to third parties and does not leave the European Economic Area merely because you visited us.
